Case Study
This project was to produce and pilot biogas units for home use, using waste. The project aimed to train villagers in Mae Laa Yang in building small-scale biogas systems for home cooking use to help reduce household expenses.
Project Outcomes and Impacts
- Training involved 10 villagers from Mae La Yang, with an outcome of 5 units made and installed.
- The pilot project is continuing with help and advice from agricultural experts for trouble-shooting.
- Guidelines were developed.
- Created “Biogas Construction and Operation Manual”.
